Permission to gravedig.

I have a problem with something I've spent a few days writing out. Its sort of a short story/post (1,400 words) which after thinking long and hard fits best into this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=394390).

While the story I've written does mention the UN and moderation (sort of) rather heavily, I don't feel its right for the UN forum and definetly doesn't warrant a thread of its own here. Nor does it fit in general as its not really a discussion topic and I'd hate to see it kicked to spam after all the work I put into it.

The only problem with using the thread concerned is its an old one and I just want to clear that its ok to post so I don't get into trouble for gravedigging :).

When I say, "Go ahead", I want to make very clear that I am not setting a precedent that you need to ask permission to gravedig, nor agreeing that your post (which I haven't seen ) belongs there.

The rules on gravedigging are necessarily subjective, but if you are adding relevant new content to an existing thread, it's generally not considered gravedigging. The rules are stickied in this forum. If you think they aren't clear enough, post a comment in the comments section with your suggestions.

I'm pretty sure that as long as you're adding something constructive to the thread, then it wouldn't be considered gravedigging.

Edit: Didn't see Frisbeeteria's post.
