Question...

Ok... this doesn't appear to belong in "Getting Help" so I can only assume it goes here.

I just had a UN proposal (repeal "Elimination of Bio Weapons") deleted with 24 hours to go on it's voting deadline and I'm a little curious what caused it. Could the Mod involved TG me or something with an explanation of what happened? Or, if I'm supposed to be bringing this up somewhere else being pointed in that direction would be appreciated.

It says "Voting Ends: Thu Jun 16 2005", but it doesn't promise when. Proposals don't expire on midnight local time of the closing day, they expire during an update on the listed day based on server time (GMT). Typically, that happens about ... now ... assuming you put it in close to the end of the cycle 3 days ago, instead of close to the beginning of the new cycle.

I have no specific knowledge of your proposal, but I bet that's what happens.

This proposal was not deleted by a Game Moderator. The most likely explanation is that you were mistaken as to the deadline time.

I see... that probably explains it then. I thought there was just a single purge of all "voting ends on day 'X'" proposals once a day on say 'X'... and since 2 hours before mine vanished there were still over 3 pages of proposals due to expire on the 15th I thought I still had at least a full day left.

I'll keep that in mind next time around and keep a closer eye on what time I submit. Thanks guys.

EDIT: Actually, someone else just brought to my attention that I just dropped to a single endorsement so that might have done it too.

EDIT: Actually, someone else just brought to my attention that I just dropped to a single endorsement so that might have done it too.No, it was the timing. The endorsement check is only done when you actually submit a proposal.
