Texpunditistan, you are a relative newcomer to this game, and you have already been the topic of discussion several times in the secret mod hideout. Your 'R' rated sense of humor and your tendency to fly off the handle do not sit well in this 'PG-13' environment. Consequently, you've been warned and forumbanned for rulebreaking, plus several unoffical warnings for image spam and probably other stuff I've long since forgotten. You need to adapt to the environment, because the environment isn't going to adapt to you.

Do I (we) hate your guts? I don't have time for that luxury.

Do I (we) pay more attention to your posts than somebody who never breaks the rules? Of course. Profiling is just one of our many tools for keeping things moving on these forums without letting them get too close to the edge.

I like how a reasonable complaint about Spaam, who was baiting, trolling, and flaming for three pages, was used as an opportunity to warn Texpundistan that he is on thin ice.

You informed Spaam that he was guilty of mild flaming with a short couple of sentences, then went on a long paragraph warning Texpundistan that had nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

That looks like mod bias to me.

Well, I'm pretty sure Fris will just ignore your opinion of (him/her?) and continue to mod. By being a big boy and filing a complaint, you might get something done.

Just a little note for consideration, the ONLY people who want me banned are all Classic Liberals. I campaigned for the DemSocs in the last 36 hours of the election, debating them to the ground, and was instrumental in making sure that they did not win. If you ask me, they are merely bitter and biased. They claim that we cheated. In my opinion, I think everyone should just put it all behind them and get on with life.

As for the posts, there were four occurences where Spaam was simply trying to piss of the individuals posting in the NS Classic Liberals thread.

He made posts:

1. Calling Wegason a bitter newb

2. Referring to AB and Wegason as Pom in a derogatory way (I have never actually heard that term before, so I don't know if it is derogatory to begin with)

3. Saying: "I don't think I was the one who got the official warning yesterday" in a response to Texpundestan

4. And antagonizing AB by saying "Congratulations. You just earn yourself a report."

There were others outside of that thread. He came in there looking to stir up shit, he did it and Texpundistan got shit on for it.

I have no opinion of Fris. I never posted one. I just pointed out that I thought Texpundistan may have a legitimate gripe.

Fris has always been fair to me, so there is no reason for me to post a complaint.

You know, with what the members of the Classic Liberals have done to the Communists and in the election thread, I don't think that is a valid gripe.

He was bitter and is comparitively a newb. However I will tone down calling people newbs. I have been 'advised'.

Pom = English. NOT derogatory. Unless Yank is also derogatory.
And so it was like saying, well, you're English, so there you go.

Tex was being fairly hypocritical. Tex DID get an official warning for flaming, baiting, and trolling. I was responding to his fairly antagonistic posts.

The point is, if you want to pursue the issue of me, then you have to pursue the issue of Alien Born. And Wegason. And make sure that Tex is banned. You don't get it both ways.

I am quite positive that you don't feel guilt, I would say that you probably very rarely feel like you are wrong. However, I believe you are guilty of following several posters into a thread and baiting them with antagonistic comments.

Actually, I'm Catholic, so I do feel guilty a lot.

I do not feel that I baited anyone. I admit that I was antagonistic, in their own thread, which is independent of the fact that they were. I am also not sure who started the antagonism, and it might've been me. However, they, especially AB, are as guilty as me in this situation. And in the election thread Wegason was baiting with the worst of them.

So thats the situation. I do not feel I warrant any punishment, however I do feel that I should tone things down a little and possibly should've ignored them.

If this debate wants to continue, I suggest you two move it to General or a private chat where you can duke it out. Moderation is not the place to grip at each other.

A report was made, a moderator gave a decision. That is the end of it. Any further issues should be brought up in another complaint or in a different forum.
