come on!!!

How much more blatant can a person be with sarcasm?

Was the post tasteless with regard to the people who died in the the tradedy? Perhaps, yes,

Was it trolling? no way. Canadians are secretly trying to kill americans by crash landing plane???? come on. be serious.

i was simply posting a news article in a humorous way, though tasteless.

Not trolling though. what possible responses could this post have generated? What sane person would take it seriously?

Well, I have voiced my opinion on it.

read into it what you will.

thought someone would have either agreed or disagreed with me by now. Especially a mod.

Weekends (especially in the summer) people are less often on-line. Give it time.

This is taken directly from Frisbeeteria's post on the rules:

Trolling: Posts that are made with the aim of angering people. (like 'ALL JEWS ARE [insert vile comment here]' for example). While Trolls often make these posts strictly in an attempt to provoke negative comment, it is still trolling even if you actually hold those beliefs. Intent is difficult to prove over the internet, so mods will work under their best assumptions.

Note that posts of opinions you disagree with does not automatically equate with trolling. Disagreements are expected, as long as they are done in a civil manner. Max Barry has made it clear that he welcomes all opinions in civil debate, even those that are highly unpopular or minority-held. Make your case without the invective, if you want to avoid banishment as a Troll.

Trolling is also is used to refer to making obviously silly topics that people nonetheless will reply to, despite all common sense. Don't feed the trolls.

In all fairness Isanyonehome... it does seem a bit trollish...

The fact that you are accusing Canadians for killing Americans intentionally (sarcastic or not) puts you into the un-zen zone.

And Mikitivity is right... this is a tough time for many IRL, give them some time!

I concur with Cogitation's ruling. Looks like trolling to me.

We are not in the business of evaluating sanity, nor is sanity a requirement for posting on these boards ... a clearly evident fact most days. We look at what is written, not necessarily your probable frame of mind at the time of posting.

Taken at face value, your post was trolling.
