i don't normally like moaning to he mods but i think this thread is being a bit too mean to me and i havn't even done anything to provoke it :(

flaming is against the rules, i have every right to complain if someone starts a thread with the sole purpose of being horrible to me

besides, they got away with it lightly, normally when people flame they at least get a warning

i think that there should be warnings for this cos it was generally quite malicious and any joke intent was not made clear, but then there don't seem to be any particularly strong flames. i just don't like to see tink upset, so i want warnings, damnit! :mad:

Next time, I'll mark my sarcasm. The second sentence was intended to be sarcastic, and I had hoped the Cthulhu reference and action suggested had hinted at that.

No, you shouldn't get what happened, but it did. Popularity and good deeds are both things that do not go unpunished. The fact you are popular means that you will, from time to time, be hated and attacked by some people. Now, you have two choices: You can either give up your popularity, or develop a way of dealing with the attacks. My advice is this: When people make the attacks, such as that thread, don't respond in the thread. Just report it here and let the mods handle it. You're too nice of a person to fight those battles.
