This comment seems a bit unfair to UT and out of bounds.

Thanks normally I report everything that crosses the line right away but I did not want to “go off and tattle” with this one (usually I see people flaming other people rather then me) Thanks for keeping an eye out

Nevermind the heaps of flaming and flamebait that were already there from Jocabia. Nevermind that there is no way to interpret UT's original comment "Why did you not just say “I have nothing worth wile to add" as anything other than flamebait.

You're interested in quizzes, so here is one for you: where is an example anywhere on the internet where forum moderation was not implemented in an arbitrary and clumsy manner?

Neither do I. So your attitude is not appreciated. If there has been rulebreaking by other players in that topic, then post links to some examples. Under absolutely no circumstances, however, is it appropriate to respond to flamebaiting with flamebaiting.

You're interested in quizzes, so here is one for you: where is an example anywhere on the internet where forum moderation was not implemented in an arbitrary and clumsy manner?I have some civil advice: Stop pushing it.

Sorry I did not mean to flame I just meant that one word responses to a though out post (even if you don't agree with it) is hardly contributing to the discussion

Incorrect. Anyone else?Cabinia: Official Warning - Flamebait.

I also note that you still haven't linked examples of flamebaiting any anyone else, which you claim as the reason you were flamebaiting others. In case you keep pushing it and get forumbanned, I'll remind you of something: While forum complaints should not normally go to the "Getting Help" page, you will have to use the "Getting Help" page to file a forum complaint while a forumban is in effect against you.

Flamebait. Right there. Do I see any mods doing anything about it? Of course not. Should I be surprised? Of course not. So what purpose would be served by posting links to the bad behavior of others?

This instance teaches us that flamebaiting is acceptable so long as it includes sycophancy towards the moderation team. I didn't read that in those rules anywhere, so you may want to edit them.

Meanwhile, a mod is accusing me of flamebait simply because I asked a question, and the wrong answer was provided. Thank you. You've proven my point. A forum ban would make it a lock.

If you know the answer, why ask the question?

Also, if you call that flamebait, you need to grow some skin..

Thirdly...read some of my threads closely before you call someone a sycophant :p

Being more silly then flaming ... there is a bit of a difference, you can tell in the way it was stated

This is a serious forum, so I have to wonder how appropriate sillyness is... if slapping someone and calling them a loud-mouthed child is to be interpreted as silly.

My own attempt at sillyness was labelled flamebait by a moderator, and "Incorrect. Anyone else?" is certainly a whole lot milder. Ergo, if I flamebaited (debateable), then Crazy girl did.

Also, if you call that flamebait, you need to grow some skin..
Whether I am thin-skinned or not has nothing to do with it. This has become a conversation about consistency (or the complete lack thereof). You simply provided a readily-useful example which illustrated my point. I can handle a whole lot worse, and have done in the other thread and elsewhere. What I can handle, however, does not enter into the equation. Flamebait is still flamebait, regardless of whether I rise to it.

Big mouth, not loud mouth.

You had a big mouth, I just pointed it out.

And since when is this forum serious? And what do you expect from a crazy girl? :D

General is also just that, a general topic forum it does not all have to be "serious" and tone makes as much of a difference as content

I didn't read that in those rules anywhere, so you may want to edit them. There are right ways to point things out, and there are wrong ways to point things out. Being snide and condescending, as you are doing here, is a wrong way.

That said, Cabinia does have a point; "Greater Wallachia", "Crazy Girl", and others: you are not helping. Knock it off.

Meanwhile, a mod is accusing me of flamebait simply because I asked a question, and the wrong answer was provided. Thank you. You've proven my point. A forum ban would make it a lock.I should have been clearer. Mea Culpa, I'll elaborate.

That one warning actually covers multiple offenses by you: borderline flamebaiting in this post (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8994109&postcount=178), borderline flamebaiting in the second paragraph of this post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8994497&postcount=4), and you kept pushing it with borderline flamebait in this post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8994648&postcount=6). Adding those three posts up comes out to (in my opinion) one official warning for flamebait.

In the meantime, you still have not posted any links to flamebaiting by other players in the linked topic and I don't have time to go looking for it myself. If you are not going to post such links, then do not complain about Moderators being unfair because, so far as I know, you are the only one breaking the rules, so you are the only one getting punished. As soon as you post links to prove that you're not the only one breaking rules, then you will stop being the only one getting punished.

It would be nice if CG stopped throwing Troll bait around. I don't think she's a party in this. There is no reason to gloat over misunderstandings of other people.

Not being a party in this. As opposed to yourself? Interesting.

I know quite well this smacks of hypocrisy, thankyouverymuch, but trying to make a point. Probably time for all of us to give it a rest. Past time.

I am glad that you agree with me. People who are no party in this should stay out of this, and most definitely not gloat over pending modrulings. Thank you for backing me up, and understanding my point :)
