Yeah, I though so when he did it to me, but not soon after I found the same behaviour in another thread, which suggests a pattern.

You are right, it isn't major and I don't believe that it requires banning or anything so severe, but a friendly heads uf from a mod, might make them stop their infantile ridiculing of typos or gramatic errors.

Hence my contacting you :)

Sounds like your standard Grammar Nazi. They're pretty common around the net, not much point getting offended - they're just fixated on the correct spelling and syntax of English. Used to be one myself.
