Can Mods rename your nation?

I know it's not possible to rename your nation through "Your Nation's Settings." But, can a mod rename your nation? Or, am I going to have to make yet another atempt? (I've already tried 10 ways to get the economy and military defence to be the exact way I want it and I just realised it was supost to be "The Ancient Kirtir". Damn it.)

Why not wait until you reach 500 million, and say the "Ancient *insert name of government here (or People,or other synonym) of Kirtir"? Even if the mods can do so, I don't think they will. Why should they? The creation of a nation and its name is up to the player, and they shouldn't have to correct the "mistakes" of such creation if a player feels unsatisifed.

Moderators probably won't change your name. I've never seen that request responded to with a 'yes'. You're probably just going to have to create another nation.

Although the mods most likely won't rename your nation, if you're having trouble getting your nation created the way you wanted, Qaaolchoura's excellent nation creation guide (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=297403) may be able to help you with that, if you do choose to recreate.
(eep, that sentence looks terrible. too many commas.)

If I recall correctly, renaming nations does Bad Things to the code, resulting in a decreased NationStates experience. Thus nations don't get renamed.

My main nation of Huntaer uses the Kirtir as a part of it's military and weild the dark side of the force. According to my fact book, it has been nearly ~40,000+ years since the Malkir(Huntaer's jedi) have encountered the Ancient Kirtir which were rumored to be even deadlier than the kirtir that nearly wiped out the Malkir during the colapse of the Galactic Republic of Huntaer and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Since the Ancient Kirtir are older, more experienced, more deadly, and more knowledgeable, they are different from The Kirtir. That was why I wanted to change the name in the first place.

"Ancient *insert name of government here (or People,or other synonym) of Kirtir"

That part though, could probably work it out. My problem is I have very little pacients for my pop. to rise (though it only took my main nation of Huntaer to reach 1.087 in less time than normal nations). Unfortunatly for me, I'm an impacient man.

nooooooo..... guess I'll have to wait...

"What code?"-- Dr. Brackish Okun to President Whitemore, Independence Day.

There is a code to determine your nation's name?

Otherwise, understood.
