You're overreacting. It appears to be intended to provoke response, and it's gotten an interesting assortment already. While it is entirely possible that the author intended the negative response you got from reading it, it doesn't have to be read that way. I don't think it crossed the line. However, your responses in posts 2 and 28 don't add anything to thread beyond a threat to impose moderation. That's actually closer to crossing the line than the original post.
Debate is fine. We're not going to close down threads because people have strong opinions. You wanna argue with someone? Use logic and persuasion, not threats of mod action.
