Ok, I control the nation Dah Homestarmy (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_nation/nation=dah_homestarmy) as my UN nation. Last night, while changing my settings something weird happened or I entered something weird and my password got screwed up.

I can no longer get into Dah Homestarmy, I tried the Password thing but I did not receive an E-mail despite the 'Done!' message (I thought I had specified one could a mod check?).

I should still be on the same IP as the nation was on at it's last log in and possibly an number of times before that as I have a static IP.

If I cannot get this nation back how long do I have to wait before giving a new nation UN status? I think Dah Homestarmy may be set to vacation mode.

I have basically the same problem. I played NS like a year and a half ago and I just started up again and I asked for my old nation M92FS back from the dead. Yes, it is back from the dead and I'm eternally grateful to the NS Moderator team, but it was in vain as I have no idea what my old password was (too much time in between) so I have no way of getting my password. Ohh and the email i supplied for the "Lost your Password" thing is no longer in existence sooooo I'm up a crick without a paddle.

It can take up to 12 hours for your Reset email to arrive.
I had to do it for one of my nations just two days ago and I sent for the
email at around this time of day (midnight) and by noon it was there.

Both 'patoxia' and 'dah homestarmy' have the same e-mail address. Sometimes the password recovery system takes awhile to send the e-mail. You might want to make sure that your spam-filter didn't eat it. Give it a day or two and if it still isn't right, we can talk to Admins about more proactive measures. Also, 'dah homestarmy' isn't in Vacation Mode.
