Sorry. Unknowingly broke a rule.

My Jane Fonda thread was closed, and I thought we exceeded the post limit or something if there is one. So I started a new one, and I couldn't delete it. I also, and I hope this isn't pushing it, wanted to know why it was closed.

Link?

For future reference, there is no post limit.

Edit: Oops. Never mind.

Yes there is. It used to be 65 pages on threads in General, but people can set how long a page to use now, so the limit's become a number of posts. I forget how many exactly, and I'll not wager a guess, in case someone should take my word for gospel truth.

The other Jane Fonda thread was closed for excessive flaming and flamebaiting. I'd already told people to tone it down and was promptly ignored, so... lock. Restarting a locked thread is usual a Very Bad Idea, however, this appears to have been an honest mistake.

For future reference: when a thread is "closed", that means a Moderator has forbidden future posts on it. It would probably be a good idea to find out why before just starting up again.
