I have a question about refounding a region. If someone empties out a region to refound it is that region up for grabs ? or what is the rule on that ?

It depends on how it is emptied out. If one wants to refound a region and asks the natives to leave and they all do willingly, it's fine. If one invades, becomes delegate, then kicks everyone out and passwords the region, it's a griefing.

Wu Chin is one of the nations that moved in after my first attempt to refound San Gabriel Valley failed. And he was one of the ones ejected. And I am thinking I know exactly what he is thinking.

Well, other nations can enter an empty region and try to refound it themselves -- that's part of the danger of refounding...

Thought that was how it worked.

Read other threads where it happened.

Guess I'm in race then.

Whittier_, I don't know why it's suddenly so important for others to try to refound your region, but as a STRICTLY PERSONAL, NON-MODERATOR OBSERVATION, you might want to reconsider leaving it in the near future.

(In other words, I might delay refounding if I were you and reinvite the other natives back.)

I was thinking the same thing for some reason. Something that Wu Chin said in his opening post.

BTW, I haven't kicked any of the natives out. There are 3 nations in the region that were'nt there when I went to refound. Two are there cause I asked for their help in defending and another is there cause he told me that he wanted to make his nation at home there so I invited him back. And he is back in the region.
The rest, were invaders.

looks I won the race. San Gabriel Valley was refounded at exactly 1240 AM Arizona time. But he's still free to stop in if he wants. I tged those other guys that were helping me to ask them to return to the region. There is no password so if anyone wants to move in.
