I wouldn't necessarily say that its outright flaming, because he isn't directly saying that you are childish, egotistical, etc. The wording of the sentence can be taken out of context. I'm not sure if the moderators will really do much, because of the fact that it has to do with a misunderstanding in a roleplay, and the confusion of OOC comments and IC posts. I suggest that you both solve this as players, rather than getting the mods involved.

I think you're reaching a little bit if you want to consider that flaming or insulting. Could AMF have been nicer? Perhaps. But Aust and company were at least partly at fault for not reading the whole post before they started complaining.

I want to see what the mods have to say about this, the whole thread is a shitload of bickering and flaming.

Flaming I'm not sure of. There seems to be a fair bit of flambaiting.

Yes, just smash the concept of free-form roleplay by demanding people ask you permission to use a name in a thread. If they're actually doing something to your country, fine; if you think it involves you but you haven't been informed as such then send off a telegram to find out for sure. But we will not put up with people running wordsearches on their forum name just to find things to offend themselves with.

Request for Clarification 1: This thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=419051), also posted by you, also labelled [NATO] clearly concerns Guffingford (as stated by you in the first post of the aforementioned thread). Are you to say that if you post any further such threads that Guffingford (a concerned party) will not be allowed to post on them?

Request for Clarification 2: You say yourself at the end of this thread (here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8900298&postcount=26)) that the "It Begins..." thread which you claim was never anything to do with Guffingford was in fact a continuation of the first thread which is, as I have already shown, clearly concerning Guffingford.

Request for Clarification 3: Do you believe it is unreasonable for Guffingford and others to assume that, having seen both threads with the same "[NATO]" tag, and the second thread listed as a continuation of the first thread, which clearly concerns Guffingford, and the second thread mentioning one of Guffingford's nation by name, and noting the refusal of NATO members to answer questions about the nature of the RP, that it concerns Guffingford?
