;) I don't mean to be an annoyance, but as some of you know my nation was deleted last week, this nation was the founder of my region. i have come to realise that it isn't coming back and i have to move on.
and so i would like some help on a different matter. As i said, i like oranges is my regions founder and with it gone, i want to be able to install I still like oranges into that position. the roles of a founder are different to those of the delegate as you know and i feel vulnerable without one.
I don't want to say anymore about it for reasons i will only explain by telegram, so what i want to know is "is there a way to install a new founder?" :D

founders are only installed in very special cases....i think having a nation deleted for rulebreaking doesn't count as one, so mu guess is....you're not getting one..

One thing you could do is get everybody to move out of the region, wait for a day for it to be deleted due to being empty, then refound it with your current nation and have everybody move back in.

Although that's a bit hard with a region of 58 nations.

Alternately, you could found a new region (You region's name slightly altered perhaps), and plan a move for your region to the new one.

"Crazy Girl", "Neo-Anarchists", and "Cape Carnivale" are correct. The fact that the previous Founder was deleted for rulebreaking is a very dtrong factor in this case; no new Founder will be appointed.

You can have everybody evacuate voluntarily (do not use Delegate powers to eject everybody because this is griefing; you may impose a password, eject a small number of inactive nations, and then ask everyone else to leave), wait for the region to auto-delete, and then refound the region.

You can found a new region of a different name and permanently relocate to it.

These are your two choices.

...or you could just stay where you are and do without a Founder.

Sometimes that don't work though. I moved out of San Gabrielle Valley a couple weeks back, so it could be deleted and I could restart it. But then a certain people moved in right after I moved out and blotched it. They've been there ever since. And they got their friends to move in after I explained to them what I was trying to do.
So even if you do move everyone out, some one might move in after you all leave.

Which is why you password it.

That wasn't an option for me. I created the region along time ago before there were founders with one of my old nations. And only about a year ago I got the idea to recreate it cause there was a hostile invasion. But I had to wait on the one guy who stuck around and he was there for about a few (7 to 8) months before his nation died of inactivity. The next day, as soon as I moved out, someone else moved in.
I'll just have to wait for these guys to either leave or do the same thing. I think they will move on eventually.

What happens with a region who doesn't have a founder or UN Delegate? I was the UN Delegate for months and months, but the person who endorsed me was deleted for inactivity, and now there's no UN delegate or founder....

If the inactive founder decides to come back, his region will be waiting for him (assuming it stays populated). Otherwise, you have a region with a dead founder, and the UN delegate (if and when elected) will automatically get access to regional controls.

In anticipatoin of your next question; no, we don't appoint new founders in such cases.
