I'm not a mod (obviously), but you are wrong.
The post clearly does not say all religious people are idiots. At most, it says some religious people are idiots and some non-religious people are idiots. I doubt even you can find fault with that statement. At worst it is an insult to the mentally challenged.
And, as you know, the author of the statement is a deeply religious Christian. The point of the post was to identify some non-religious people with absurd beliefs -- The Flat Earth Society.
Just shows that you don't need religion to be a blithering idiot.
I don't see that as flamebait at all.
