My nation name is offensive; delete my nation please

I squished together the names of myself and various friends into something that sounded vaguely cool (aiming for something that sounded like the Aztec deity "Quetzacoatl"), and I completely failed to notice that "chupa" is the Spanish word for fellatio.
So the nation name now looks like it's "Lots of chupa" ("lots of blowjobs"). Awful, and quite offensive for Spanish speakers.
Please delete this nation (and this thread). I've already moved on and made another nation. Actually, I now have five nations -- but only one is a UN member :p !
And none of them sound offensive in any language!
Thank you!

1) Mods don't delete nations on request to the best of my knowledge.
2) You provided a reasonable explanation as to why your nation got the name it did, you may therefore not get it deleted.
3) I'm not a mod, therefore my opinion is irrelevant :p

Normally we don't delete nation names on request, and if the intent is not obscene, then we generally don't delete, anyway.
On the other hand, I can see the potential for abuse, here. I can already imagine troublemakers trying to think of ways to squish together actual names into something that sounds obscene and then trying to claim that the intent was not obscene when a Mod cracks down.
I'll discuss this with the other Mods and get back to you.

My recollection is that "chupar" is to suck/chew/eat/etc. Hence "chupa-chupas" which are lollipops and the "chupacabra" which is a cryptozoologic beast that eats goats (cabras).

That's got to be one of the most honest requests I've ever seen here.... and one of the most unique.
Assuming you're still debating this, mods, I'd just like to give my non-moddy opinion in case it helps any. As you said, Cog, it can be interpreted as offensive, and could open that account to all sorts of inflammatory posts and flamebait. Also, if the account actually got hacked (unlikely, I know, and also illegal unto itself), this person could end up getting framed for offensive behavior. That's a threat with any nation, of course, but with a nation whose name can already be interpreted as being offensive to begin with, it makes things even worse. If I were in your positions, I would be fulfilling his/her request. But I'm not, and so offer this opinion to your debate.

This is a strange, yet funny coincidence.
My recollection is that "chupar" is to suck/chew/eat/etc. Hence "chupa-chupas" which are lollipops and the "chupacabra" which is a cryptozoologic beast that eats goats (cabras).I thought it only sucked their blood ... ( And is known to go after other, smaller animals, too. )

True, which makes more sense with "chupa." I do not believe that word to be any more obscene that "ovas" which literally means "eggs" in Spanish, but has other meanings, nor "balls", "blow", "sack", or "pussy". While they all have innappropriate meanings, there are enough legitimate reasons that they don't necessarily warren't deletion.

Here's a way I thought of to make sure that the name is deleted:
1. Go on to settings, click on "change password" then bash your palm onto the keyboard like so; yop\]p\[p jjyrjdhzghfxfccchhgfgthgjyae,.
2. Highlight the word, copy it then paste it onto the "confirm" box. Now you have a password that no-one can guess, not even you.
3. Leave your nation to rot for 28 days. It is deleted automatically.
Now, I know steps 1 and 2 aren't necessary, but it stops people guessing your password easily and getting you into trouble.

So is the verdict you won't delete my nation?
If so, then I'm quite tempted to keep playing it and move it to the region where my other nations are. It's pretty safe in that region, I've made friends, and people there won't complain about my nation's name.
I just made this thread because I was trying to think ahead...
...let's get out the crystal ball and peer into the future...
In the future, this nation's grown into quite a big utopia and I've fallen in love with it, and then along comes somebody who reports its "offensive" name. Then I'd weep buckets when the mods delete it, because there would have had to be (been? -- ugh, what is the future-imperfect-subjunctive-whatever of "to be") a chance that the mods would delete it (I think) because my claim that I squished the names of close friends, household pets, and significant others to get this name would (in this future scenario) seem like such a cop-out. Other nations can claim that, too. And I, honestly, should have known better than to choose such a name (my Filipino-speaking and Spanish-speaking friends often use the word "chupa" to refer to fellatio).
*Sigh*
I guess to be safe I will just make a new random password to this nation that even I cannot guess and let this nation die a silent death 28 days later (a wonderful movie, by the way).
Thank you anyway, to the mods. I hope the pleasure you derive, if any, from the oddness of the honesty of this thread more than makes up for the amount of time you've had to spend deliberating on it!
