I recently began a thread called 'Ask Satan', in which I pretended to be Satan and I answered people's questions. It was an innocent, humorous thread with nothing particularly blasphemous going on, when I suddenly discover that it's been closed. If anyone knows what happened to it, please tell me. I'm kinda pissed off about it 'cos I was having fun.

I am not the Moderator who handled your case, but at a guess I'd say it was because it was a copycat thread. To quote the excellent rules compendium (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) created by my esteemed colleague Frisbeeteria;
When somebody creates a popular thread, copycats and parodies quickly flood the forums. Like any other fad, a few can be fun, but once everyone starts to copycat them it becomes overbearing and spammish. Such threads may be locked or moved to Spam by any moderator who considers that thread to be a copycat or spam thread. Threads with genuine content may be left alone, but that probability increases dramatically when you don't use a fad title.
"Ask a ..." threads have been in this category for some time.
