Confused...

Gravedigging, flamebaiting, and trolling, all in a category of threads that was specifically banned several weeks ago? Not a particularly good "welcome back to the boards" message to send, Drunken FratBoy Island. Watch yourself, 'cause now I'm watching you too.

I'm confused. What about my post was wrong? I was expressing an oppinion. As for "gravedigging" and "a category of threads that was specifically banned several weeks ago" I haven't been on the boards for I think 2 weeks so I'm kind of lost on that one. Bring me up to speed perhaps? Thanx.

Ok. That's good to know. It's news to me. So I won't respond to said type of thread any more.

Now, if I could get Frisbeeteria's help on the other half of it I'll be set. Thanx! :)

You're just as arrogant and as ignorant as 51% of Americans are. You depend on us (and the global market as a whole) more than your ignorant yankee ass will ever know my friend.

Gawd damn lousy good for nothing cheese eating surrender monkey French you say? Hm. That's gratitude for ya.
Let's see. What could possibly be flamebaiting about this collection of quotes? Nothing insulting or attempting to troll there, now is there? It's just polite opinion-mongering, right?

If you honestly can't tell the difference between a difference of opinion and those lines, then you need to click the link below my name and read it very carefully, from start to finish.

Oh, the last post prior to your resumption was dated over a month ago, 31-03-2005. Your first post upon resumption was an attempt to pick a fight. That's not something we encourage here, and why you were called for gravedigging.

Well, I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I've seen far worse slip past the radar than what I've said.
So I suppose I'll have to keep my big Canuck yap shut or pay the piper.
Good day sir. :)

Just a polite side-note: Just because it escapes detection doesn't mean that it's legal.

I don't know that I would consider that second quote-
Gawd damn lousy good for nothing cheese eating surrender monkey French you say? Hm. That's gratitude for ya.
-as being wrong, since DFI was merely paraphrasing the sentiments of others, and opposing said sentiments.

Let's be very clear on one thing here. Your being Canadian and posting in "Ask an American" had absolutely nothing to do with my decision to close the thread. It was the "more than your ignorant <fill in any nationality> ass" and "You're just as arrogant and as ignorant as <fill in any comparative> are".

You were dinged, and extremely mildly (a thread lock) for gravedigging, flamebaiting and trolling. You did all of those things, plus you were flaming in the above quotes. We don't agree to disagree, sir. You choose to disagree with the rules of this forum, and if I see it again, I will act on it. That's what they don't pay the big bucks for.

As for the French "surrender monkey" bit, I would not have considered that as offensive in isolation. However, as a pattern of trolling and flamebaiting, it is a valid part of the mix.
