I sent the following message to the moderators several days ago, yet I have received no reply:

Dear moderators
R.E. The deletion of Dafidutopia
I apologise for having to send you this message, for I realise that there are very few moderators working for NS, who have to control a vast number of nations etc. and that with the recent problems with the server, you must be extremely busy.
However, I am concerned about the punishment that I received for one of my nations. I have been looking after a friends nations: 'The Purified Germany' and 'Nazi Fashizt USA'. Unfortunately it turned out that one of these nations was in the UN, and I already had a UN nation.
I realise that this is against game rules, and I accept that it is necessary to punish all nations for breaking the rules, even if, as is the case here, it was accident.
However, not only were both nations ejected from the UN, one, Dafidutopia was deleted. This is despite the fact that I received the message:
'This nation has been determined to be in breach of UN rules, which allow you to only have one nation in the UN at any given time. It has thus been ejected and barred from re-joining.'
My message does not mention the fact that Dfidutopia was deleted, and I do not see why it should have been deleted. It is my oldest nation, with a population of almsot 2 billion.
Moreover, I have not breached any rules before, except when I was a very new player to the game and was unaware of the rules.
I would therefore like to appeal about the deletion of my nation and would like to ask whether it could not be restored.
I do realise that the problem is largely my fault, for I should have checked the UN status of the nations; however, I do not feel that the deletion of a nation was necessarily an appropriate punishment for a crime of this magnitude. I had not misused the UN status of either nation and was only endorsing and voting on UN issues with a single nation.
Thankyou for your time. I hope that you will consider my response.

Appeals: If you disagree with a moderation ruling, you may sometimes request additional moderator input. Bear in mind that many cases are discussed by multiple moderators before a ruling is handed down. Moderators will generally hold back on responding to any follow-up queries until the original moderator has a chance to explain the decision. Failing successful resolution, additional appeals may be made to the site admins, first to salusa@nationstates.net, and finally to admin@nationstates.net. Admin decisions are final. Do not email Max Barry, he'll just refer you back to [violet] or Salusa.

If you have an appeal on your deletion, I suggest that you follow the steps in the appeals paragraph.

I probably should have been more accurate on that, I meant to say that if the moderators don't grant his request, that he should go ahead and send an email to salusa@nationstates.net if he wishes to continue his appeal.

Has he? If he has, this could explain the deletion of your nation...

As to why yours and not his... I'd think it is because his was in the UN first, no real idea though.

*NOTE* Ish not a mod. If he was, there'd be no more antacids in the house. */NOTE*
