This thread in I.I. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=412713) is a joint project between me and Praetonia. I was wondering if it's possible to give Praetonia the ability to have joint thread owner responsibilities (for instance, the right to request that certain posts be deleted or to edit my posts if needed)?

Mechanically not possible on the latter, and semi-questionable on the former. The only way to edit your posts is to be logged on as you or logged on as a moderator. We can't grant individual rights to a single post or thread.
As to deleting spam or other unnecessary posts, ... I'm going to have to defer that question, sorta. I think your intent is clear, and I think any member can call for comments that are clearly spam to be removed. I don't think we can give him carte blanche to ask for the removal of OOC posts or what not. It's prety much impossible to keep up with, and I really don't want to establish a precendent.
There would be nothing wrong with him telegramming you and suggesting you do it. That way, there's no precedent issue and no cross-referencing to prior permissions. You two need to figure out how to handle it.
The only other possible solution would be a thread split with cross-references. I'll be happy to split the second post off into a new thread, and Praetonia can add a link back to your topic. It's ugly, but it would work.
Let me know.
