I mean, it's one thing to do it in a sort of pseudointellectual, snippy way, but that's just an outright insult, irrelevant, and not even true. The whole "I believe I speak for everyone" thing is nonsense. In the poll, "Am I a troll?", about half said yes and half said no.

And then, their actual reply to the question. Just one sentence. I hate it when people that. That is trolling. Someone asks a question.

To me, it looked as though that entire thread was a thread asking about opinions on a subject, so it's a bit odd to complain about people giving out their opinions on that subject.

A Conservative is in the business of selling lies; a Liberal is in the science of studying them.

Personally... I think that sig might be boarderline trolling or flame baiting... doesn't leave any room to argue, just a clear-cut blanket statement (clearly anti-conservative)

We don't edit out other people's opinions on request. If they break the rules, we might delete the post/thread/nation or ask/tell them to stop, but we're not in the business of putting words in other people's mouths ... or removing them.

There are plenty of other threads on homosexuality and / or gay marriage that haven't descended to this level - go post in one of those instead.
