How much do we have to annoy you before getting banned?

I know that I've had a few nations deleted before from UN Violations,
but how much does a person have to do before you completely ban
their IP from joining the UN or even joining NS?

We don't like people who try to figure out how far they can push the limits without being banned. So, if you have to ask, then you're too close.

The rest of you: Stop egging him on.

Not a mod, but...

The limit (as I understand, never even had a warning) is about 2 deletions. Any more than that...poof. IP ban.

On the forums, two offences are a ban from the forums, and circumventing the ban is a deletion.

Any offence on any part of the game can result in a deletion, so the best thing is to not do bad stuff.

About 2 UN offences (bad proposal, scripting) get you kicked out of the UN.

Refusing to worship the mods is an instant IP ban. :p

A UN Multi is an instant kickout UNLESS you are on a school package.

Large UN multies are an instant deletion.

Deleted nations cannot be resurrected.

NOT A MOD VIEW. THIS IS ONLY WHAT I THINK FROM PAST CASES (DAVE, Kahta, Psycho retards 8, etc.)

Anything I missed?

Thanks for all the help guys. I will use it "wisely." LOL.
And for those people whom have violated rules (and
got deleted), is there any chance of them becoming
a Mod of any sort? Because the thing that I did was
considered impressive to a lot of people ;) .

The limit (as I understand, never even had a warning) is about 2 deletions. Any more than that...poof. IP ban. There is no hard limit on how many deletions you can have. It's subject to Moderator judgement.
On the forums, two offences are a ban from the forums, and circumventing the ban is a deletion.Correct.
Any offence on any part of the game can result in a deletion, so the best thing is to not do bad stuff.Correction: Any two offenses on any parts of the game (for example, one charge of AdSpam and one charge of abusive telegram, or one charge of UN multi and one charge of abusive telegram) will get you deleted. Alternatively, being forumbanned and then committing a game offense can get you deleted.
About 2 UN offences (bad proposal, scripting) get you kicked out of the UN.This varies by the Mod-on-the-job and the severity of the offense, but is usually 3 bad proposals.
Refusing to worship the mods is an instant IP ban. :pNo, refusing to worship us gets you smacked with a very large trout. :p
A UN Multi is an instant kickout UNLESS you are on a school package.Being on a school network is taken into account, but is not a guarantee. For security reasons, I will not discuss what other factors are involved.
Large UN multies are an instant deletion.Correct. ...or having a second ring of UN multies after the first ring was busted.
Deleted nations cannot be resurrected.Minor correction: We can resurrect nations deleted for rulebreaking. We merely refuse to do so.
NOT A MOD VIEW. THIS IS ONLY WHAT I THINK FROM PAST CASES (DAVE, Kahta, Psycho retards 8, etc.)

Anything I missed? That pretty much covers your guesses.

Thanks. I love being right and...Eek! The trout!

And Honesty, every time you ask to be a mod, it wastes 0.0000005% of a Mod's life to tell you 'No'. Asking will not get you anywhere.

Too bad that they don't appoint mods due to popularity vote then, neh? Something tells me your bid for modship will likely get shot down. I don't think I've seen any of them be impressed by rulesbreakers - after all, it's their job to put a stop to that sort of thing, not encourage it.

/me checks for previous incarnations.

I think you already know the answer, but just to state it clearly and for the record: You are not becoming a Moderator.

Now, do you have any legitimate questions to ask?

I don't wanna be a mod, too much responsibility, so little time (at least for me). And plus, if I did become one, I would prolly get booted for telling 'secrets'.

Does this mean that if you violated a rule, you are unable to become a mod?

Not a mod, and total speculation (which they hate), but I'd think no for OpSEC reasons.

With a canidate pool of several thousand, we prefer to choose from people who can be bothered to follow the rules.
