Please lock this thread. It has been hijacked in spite of numerous requests to honor it's intention. I even started another thread just so they could carry on their rants there. Now it is degenerating into a flame war. Please, just lock it or delete it.

If I have time, I will review the thread (200+ posts... Gah!) and issue official warnings for thread hijacking.
A memorial thread is not a debate thread, so long as political statements are left out of the memorial. Forcing a debate in what is otherwise a memorial thread is thread hijacking and is officially warnable.

I know it's not my decision, but I really don't want anyone to get warnings for this. And after it was pointed out and I reviewed my initial post, I didn't make myself clear on my full intentions. I just wanted a thread where people with faith and strong feelings on both sides of the issue could come together and share a few minutes of unity. Stupid me. Thanks for your help Cog.
