Euroslavia's thread is good for somebody who is picking out a government for his/her nation. It has a lot of info on government types and other things. I say this should be a Sticky.

Do something about your sigsize, for heavens sake. And a sticky would be nice, although I think the mods said that there already are enough stickies around.

Not every well-written guide needs to be a Sticky. As had been pointed out, there is already a consolidation Sticky in II, and Euroslavia owns it. If he wants it at the top of the forum, he has but to add it. If I were Euro, I'd even go so far as to create a special section for The Euroslavia Series of Helpful Hints, which he seems quite fond of posting.
I gave some good practical reasons in this thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8559466&postcount=47) why we wouldn't create a Chat sticky in General. Many of the same reasons apply here. The biggest reason is the lack of forum real estate. We have 32 slots per page (at least under my settings), and every sticky takes away one from that total. They're on the top of every page, not just the first one. If we granted every good thread a sticky, we'd have no room for regular threads. The pages would scroll to infinity with nothing else visible.

I personally didn't expect to get a sticky, and I certainly don't create threads just so they can be stickies. It just so happens that a few of my threads have become so.
I'll add it to the Guide To Nationstates, and I'll probably create a little section for the extra guides and help that I've made.
