Well...Nathicana and I led a big fight in defense of the mods a month or so ago, but in reality people will lash out once the rule book is thrown at them. (I know this personally...even when I can't throw the book myself) It's just the nature of these things. The majority of people respect the mods. Only those who break rules do not, but if you think about it, the act of breaking rules is disrespectful to the mods in itself, so their lack of respect is there from the beginning.

Have you ever heard of the expression to have a "brown nose"?

Recognizing a team of professionals for a job well (and freely) done is hardly brown-nosing in my eyes. And they deserve our kind words; they are the policemen and judges of this world we play in, and they are constantly interacting with the negative players. This thread is a good one. Thank you Mods!

Nonetheless, this forum is for resolving problems and adjudicating disputes. While we appreciate the sentiment, it doesn't belong here. And since moving this thread to General might look like a moderation appeal to have players suck up (which is neither necessary nor desirable) I'm simply going to lock it.
