Will all our nations be cleared???

Me and several of my friends use the same computer because it is the only one in the house so of course those of us that have tried for UN on NS have done so on the same computer. I was told that we will get deleted for that just because we used the same computer even though we all have different email addresses. Is this so? Does anyone know what to do when you use a shared computer and internet access?

You will most likely only be kicked from the UN.

is there any way to avoid that though? Gosh, they have to make exceptions for shared computers! Otherwise none of us can play the game like it is meant to be played. :(

Either was, I think you're screwed.

The moderators always say to be patient - that they will answer questions as soon as they can.

Hope everything works out for you.

You are operating from the same computer. We must assume that you are one person. It is a violation of NationStates rules for one person to have multipple UN nations. Remove all except one from the UN immediately.

If you really are multiple people, then we're sorry, but we cannot take your word for it. Actual cheaters attempt to claim the same thing.

As I said, there are several of us. I think 4 of us have UN Nations. Only 2 of us are here right now so there will still be 2 on the UN for another day. Someone had mentioned to me that we could take turns with UN access. Is this okay or is this prohibited too?

Okay, so if my roomies go to the computers at the library and they apply to the UN then we can still use the computer at home to play and we won't be booted then? Or can we not play on the same computer either? Any advice would be great. I took mine out of the UN just to be safe and one of my other roomies did the same but there are still 2 of them in the UN because they are at work.

Well, the rule is that there can only be one UN nation per IP address, so no, you'll still get booted if you do that. Some people suggest making a joint UN nation for use by everyone or rotating UN status between nations in cases like this, mabye that will work for you and your roommates? It all boils down to one UN nation per IP address in the end though, sorry.

And just a word of caution about library and public computers: You'll still need to be careful about using a UN nation on a public computer (like in a library) since there is still the possibility that you'll get flagged as a multi if there are other people with UN nations on the system.

Something to look at: Ejected from the UN? Here's why (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=274575)
