While it's certainly tasteless, there actually is an actual school of thought concerning the Holocaust not happening (which, in my opinion, is academia suffering from the worst effects of ivory towerism). While it could be borderline trolling, especially coming from a racist with an agenda, that thread has moved on quite nicely and is an example of how users can effectively counter trolling by effectively making it a non-entity.
That being said, bringing it back up in the thread after it has moved on so well would be counter-productive, as more people would be inspired to comment on the commentary on the commentary on the comment, so I don't think intervention is necessary right now.

He brings up the Holocaust in every thread talking about lies, but luckily (as Scolo mentioned) people seem to ignore it and not bother to respond with a flame or anything.
