Explains how [poor] white construction workers are better than "poor colored trash."

Racist opinions are permitted on NationStates as long as they don't break any rules. Kahta's posts aren't flaming for the most part, though they could be considered trolling. We don't police content, New Granada. If you're offended, rebut.

You may have noticed that I've already posted (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8497474&postcount=90) in that thread, and in my opinion the other people in that thread have a pretty fair grasp of the opposing arguments and seem to be holding up just fine.

I must say that the thread is named most appropriately.

[edit: On further reflection, there were several flames in that topic, along with quite a bit of trolling. Appropriate action has been taken. ]

I imagine we'll likely catch all sorts of flak for it, but Kahta has been warned before to watch it with the racial slurs, flamebait, trolling, etc etc.

The decision has since been made with a consensus of multiple moderators (three of them Game Mods) that Kahta's had all his chances. Hence, his nation has been deleted. The player is not IP banned, DOSed, or anything of that magnitude, he's simply had his nation deleted from repeated rules violations.

I plan on appealing this decision. I was warned one time for using racial slurs.

With all due respect, what would Game Mods know about the forums? I thought their expertise was on the game side of NS. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I imagine that if you read all the stickies, you'd learn that there is a sort of heirarchy among mods.

I imagine that you might also learn that there is a rule against 'gravedigging.'

Quite possibly, if I had the foresight or desire to read the stickies. However, I tend to 'go for the goods' below them and ignore everything that looks important. My loss. :p

This is the sticky New Granada was referring to.

All raceism is wrong. Saddly, some of the people who do it most are those who suffer from it the most... Or claim to be against only some forms of it...

Correct me if I'm wrong.
You're wrong.

Game Mods are promoted from the ranks of Forum Mods, and have all their former powers and experience. Reploid Productions was in fact the NS Forum adminstrator before we moved to Jolt. I think she's fully qualified to make such statements.

[Edit] Lochnagar, please leave General statements in General. This is a discussion of a moderation decision, not racism.
