I ignored Hitlerreich this far, figuring it was just some personal bias against him that made me want to report him. But after one of his latest comments, I looked through his past posts and it looks to me as though almost all of the non-RP posts are for the purpose of bashing and angering liberals, with a break to attack Muslims. It seems to be getting a bit absurd to me...

Of course, I may have a marked inability to distinguish between trolling and clinging to $IDEOLOGY...

He does get close to baiting a time or two, but other than those exceptions he seems to be pretty much espousing the Conservative viewpoint. I bet Siri is thrilled. :-)

I suggest you put him on "ignore." He hasn't done anything worthy of Moderator action that I can see. I'd call him obnoxious without being a problem.

It comes close to being a troll. All he's really doing is trying to make leftists angry by relating them to communists with no realy basis. But, I don't think its worth a fourm or IP ban yet.

What Hitlerreich said about Islam is terribly wrong. It is only a minority of Muslims who pactice fundamentalism. In my view, he has come close to becoming one of them himself.

Only one of these posts, http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8304195&postcount=67, actually comes close to flaming. By General standards, even that one is pretty mild.

As for the rest of them, they come across as political opinion to me. Strong, right-leaning political opinion, I'll grant you, but that's all. This is ultimately a forum about a political simulation game, and I don't think Max wanted to stifle opinion just because some readers found it disagreeable. I've seen just as much (or more) from the left that could be considered political trolling, and those folks get warned and deleted when they cross the line into rule breaking. That same standard applies to Hitlerreich, and everyone else here. He's not there, at least not yet.

No action taken.
