Deleted nations

I was under the impression that it took 28 days of non-activity for a nation to be deleted, but 2 nations I conversed with 21 days ago mysteriously no longer exist:

Any way of finding out what happened to them?

If it was really 21 days, and they no longer exist, then the only other way to get deleted is if they broke some rules.

Uh-Oh! I guess I had better read the rules again. I didn't know that after 28 days of non-activity that a nation was deleted. Thanks for the information!
