It seemed a little inappropriate by claiming homosexuality to be a bad thing. May just be in my head though.

I'm gonna go with "more Johnny Wadd pushing the limits of decency and politeness" than an overt attack. He's pushing the line for sure, but I don't think this one crosses over.
