There are a lot, they've been asked to stop, they won't.

As you have already been told [several times, I think], you can't exclude people from your threads in the General forum just because you don't like what they're saying.

That's what the 'ignore' function is for.

Okay, but to be fair, I did just basically ask they either not spam, or politely leave. I think I can ask they not spam, yes?

I don't want to ignore folks who sometimes have something worth debating, but sometimes spam. I just want them to not spam, at least not spam my threads.

I thought spamming was when someone flooded the thread with something completely unrelated to the topic. I saw nothing of the kind in your examples. Oh, certainly they went off on a tangent, but that's very different from spamming. They certainly didn't go off long enough for me to consider it hijacking. Ultimately, the little side discussion stemmed from your declaration that your racism and sexuality ought to matter to them, and they went with it.

It looks to me like you're wracking your brain to find any possible excuse to get people in trouble when they don't agree with you. Since you know people are going to disagree when you post topics like that, I suggest you stop trolling for it.

From what I can see [and mind you, I'm reading these links out of context: the actual discussion in that thread would probably make me want to reach through the monitor and pound VoteEarly's head into his desk] it appears that this is, for the most part, people sort of sidetracking the discussion with information or statements that are probably not pertinent to the thread, or 'hijacking.' Hijacking a thread isnt technically illegal per se, though there is a fine line between it and spam.

As it stands now, however, this line has yet to be crossed. Grow a skin.
