Why did all the My Revelation threads get locked.... excepting Kahta and VoteEarly's? Do I need to write it in old Bible script and make it a really convincing lie? Surely nobody believes that the two of them had a revelation a day apart. I have no problem with mine getting locked, but then Kahta and VoteEarly's should be as well.

Because mine was meant as a serious thread because I honestly did have a revelation.

Ok, and Kahta?

Was his meant as a waste of space as most of them were? No. His was meant as serious.

Just because his wasn't as detailed or long as mine, doesn't take away from the fake his is meant seriously.

I'm sorry for being skeptical, but do you honestly expect me to believe that out of the thousands of Calvinists, G-D gave you and Kahta each a revelation, a day apart. Coincedentally, you both happen to know each other. Sorry, but this is just way to convinient for me to buy.

My Revelations actually occurred over the last 2-3 years. The one I posted was about 2 years old, I had it written down since then, I just pulled it up and posted in the other day.

Yes, I did have that revelation. I wrote about it the morning after I had it. I forgot most of the details, such as names, and places, but I told it as I remembered.

In our land in the last quarter of a century, many men have woken up with revelations, setting up soon after, small churches and temples over the stretch of our part of Borneo island. Ours is fertile land also, for foreigners with their own revelations, as many come for the planting.

Just, our own thoughts.

Erm...I think Kahta and VoteEarly were talking about things that have happened in real life, rather than things that have happened in their Nation State.

I'd say its just because they are mod pets and leave it at that, but I'm sure there must be a real reason

I'd say its just because they are mod pets and leave it at that, but I'm sure there must be a real reasonGiven the number of times they've been warned or deleted, assigning the label "mod pets" to Kahta and VoteEarly is highly ironic.

There's a rule in NationStates about flamebaiting that's been around for a long time. The "Revelations" threads that got locked were deliberately provocative against VoteEarly; they weren't sharing any revelation beyond the fact that they mock him. Kahta didn't get locked because it's believable that he would have a similar revelation, and was inspired by VoteEarly to share his own. Why he couldn't do it in the original thread is another question, but apparently not lock-worthy.

It looks to me like the Moderators are being as scrupulously fair about this as they can be. They're sticking to the letter of the law without regard for who might be involved.

Hijacking a thread isnt technically illegal per se, though there is a fine line between it and spam.

As it stands now, however, this line has yet to be crossed. Grow a skin.

end quote, my bold

I think they are being fair in threads that are questionable even though it hurts them to do so. The mod job is one I would never want because I know I could not be even handed.
