Moderator help

North American

I was just wondering if Moderators are able to alter Nation Names. When I registered my Nation, and was originally calling it the Federation of North American Peoples, but It didn't fit, so I called it the Federation of Free Alberta, and clicked the submit button, but I had left one of the drop-down menus on DEFAULT, so It took me back again. Now, my browser caches everything, so it went back to "The Federation of North American," And I didn't notice until It was to late. Is thre any way a Moderator could change my Nation to Free Alberta instead of North American? Thank you.

The only thing you can do is create a new nation, I'm afraid. Sorry, but if mods started changed nation names they'd run a major risk of mucking up the game code alltogether so they've decided it's best to not fool around there.

Ok, well, thank you anyways......
EDIT-After reading several stickies, is it possible to delete this nation, make a new one, then have a game mod restore me as region founder.

We don't delete nations merely on request. We only delete nations for rulebreaking.
You can make a new nation.
We will not transfer Foundership. However, since you are the Founder, you may eject everyone from your region, password-protect it, wait for it to auto-delete for being empty, and then refound it with your new nation.

Your old nation should be removed from the UN, if it is a member, then given some obscenely long and completely random password to prevent hacking. After 28 days, it'll go out with the update.

We will not transfer Foundership.
In most cases. :D

If he wants his new nation to be in the UN, then yes, "North American" has to resign from the UN. However, he should assign an E-mail address to "North American" in case he wants the nation back, later.

In most cases. :D
He's asking about his specific case, and in his specific case, we will not transfer Foudnership.

So, nyah! :p

I know you won't in his specific case, but the way you said it, it could be interpreted to mean all cases.

So, nyah! :p

Just kidding. I knew what you meant, but it wasn't the clearest. Shutting up and running away now.
