So those are his opinions, he's entitled to them. His religion, and mine, dictate all gays are going to hell. Folks calling him names (retard being the insult), that is not allowed, it is a flame.
General is the place for opinions, not flames.

I can't see either the first or last of those as a flame, personally. They seem like opinions that they are entitled to hold to me. However, the middle one does seem as though it could be construed as a mild flame, with the bit about stupidity, but I'm not sure at all.
