I just saw the thread devoted to Jesussaves and I would just like to ask the moderators if the reason they left it for over half an hour for closing it was because they didn't notice it until then or because they just wanted to let it run a bit longer. I mean it was blatantly flamebait right from the start (although Jesussaves deserves it). Were you letting it go on?

Jesussaves is not for real. He(she/it) is intentionally provoking in order to discredit Christians. As in this post (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8223693&postcount=1) where he/she/it posts an article from the Onion claiming to think it is real. Come on, seriously now.

Is that true? Then why did the Jesussaves thread get locked?

Probably because flaming, even of imaginary characters, is frowned upon. Heck, I got reported for even hinting that Kahta might be connected to the KKK, despite his overt racism.

Leave Jesussaves alone. He's either expressing a very unpopular opinion, or is just a brilliant commedian. Either way he hasn't been flaming anybody, hijacking any threads, or otherwise violating forum rules.

He is satirizing an opinion, perhaps in a clever way, but in a way that is still offensive to some. He is also not serious. Check out this post:

C) Some of us have lives outside of NationStates. Now that I think of it, all of us do.

D) Even when we're here, we don't act unless we see something to act on. That's why A) is important.

1 Maybe he's just not too bright. It's not a crime.
2 First Baptist is a religious denomination separate from Southern Baptists.
3 Flaming? Perhaps, or maybe he's just voicing an opinion.
4 Out of character? Maybe he was attempting sarcasm. I've posted plenty of sarcastic comments that have been misinterpreted.

Theres nothing wrong with him, hes just expressing an opinion - if you want to get offended thats your prerogative
