Hi, this is the original owner of Eauz, and this morning I awoke to the surprise that I no longer owned my nation. Now, the only thing I can recall, is that my nation must have been deleted due to a memo I sent to Raptor Claw. I think it said something like "What the F***, I don't want to F***in join your stupid cup. F*** off".

But, a lot of us who are part of the NationStates World Cup are very connected, and we joke around with each other. I've recieved worse B.S. memo's than that before, but I laughed it off. Also, after that memo, I sent a second one, where I justify why I said that, saying something along the lines of...

"Hey buddy, that last memo is ONLY a joke, do not take it serious, I'm a fool, and sometimes will say idiotic things like that. So, just don't get offended, it's only a joke, and I'm sorry if you are offended"

I know I shouldn't have sent a memo with bad words in it and all, but I though, especially after sending a second memo right away explaining that first one, that there would be no problem. Now I know that not everyone wants to joke around. Really, I am sorry about this incident, and I only ask you to look at any posts I've made on this forum, I'm not about attacking people. That memo was only a joke. Next time, I'll make sure to put in BRIGHT RED letters that I am only joking in a memo, before I send it.

Nonetheless, I really am sorry this happend. I would like to recover my nation, because I'm pretty active on the forum, and love Nationstates. If I cannot, well I guess that's how it is eh? I always have the chance to register another nation eh? I hope you understand my Appeal.

Yeah, you'll have to do that. Nations deleted for rulebreaking are not resurrected.

I am the Moderator who handled this case. Let me clear somethings up if I may.

First and foremost, sending an apology via telegram doesn't excuse the offender from the offense: the same thing applies with UN multis: how ridiculous would it be if we reinstated everyone who said "OMG I'm soooo sorry I'll never multi again plz restore my nations?"

Pretty ridiculous. That said, I was not aware that Raptor Claw hadn't seen the second message, and for the record Eauz is correct instating that he did send that second telegram: I dismissed it because I figured Raptor Claw wanted to lodge the complaint anyway.

So Eauz here's the deal: You weren't deleted for that offense alone, you already had a standing violation. Since Raptor Claw is withdrawing his complaint, I'll restore your nation and clear the second warning, but the first one will still stand. So be veerrrrry careful what you do in the future, as any further violations will see you deleted again.

EDIT: Eauz lives.

wow tones of bad words thats shurely a way to get your nation back

TFU: Read again. It was a misunderstanding, an in-joke that got messed up somehow, and he did get his nation back. Eauz was not using any bad language here to try and force a decision.

Glad to see a happy ending on this one.
