I've been on NationStates for ages now, and I've never actually bothered to inform myself on all the specific rules. I've never needed to since I don't invade, spam, or do anything else to harass others.

Anyway, I heard some nations talking about delete on sight orders. My question is what are they? Are they permanent? Those nations that mentioned "delete on sight" were talking about a person called Prodigal Fenian. I have a vague recollection of who s/he is (or was) from my first months on NS. Is (or was) s/he on a delete on sight order.

Forgive me for my ignorance in these matters. Like I said earlier, I spent my time in the distant and secluded regions of NS. Also, If this post should have been place elsewhere, I apologise. I rarely spend much time reading this forum, so I don't have a good feel on what topics go where.

DoS = Delete on Sight. Meaning this player is banned from NationStates and we will delete any nations of theirs that we find. They may or may not be permanent, depending on the situation.

Eire Shamrock aka Prodigal Fenian is DoS for going completely insane last year and repeatedly spamming up regions, flaming moderators and other players and being a general nuisance. They are not to return to NationStates under any circumstances and any nations of theirs that we find will be deleted.

And when he says "May or may not" he means always permanent. I haven't ever heard of anyone being allowed to come back...If anyone knows of anyone, by all means, share, but I've never heard of anyone.
