Greetings to All and Sundry,

When the Mods have only been able to continually delete each new nation and the player responsible only becomes worse after each infraction of the system rules and resulting punishment, it begins to be an intolerable situation for all concerned. This unnecessary oxygen depleter has now gone on to pursue increased identity theft and spam our regional board, with no end to their stupidity in sight.

This began a few weeks ago with excessive spamming of regional happenings all over the NS World with their horde of puppets based in Elvisland and then starting on Feb 28th began the pathetic griefing of both Wysteria and myself because I told him to stop. Each attempt by the Mods to deal with this waste of skin has only resulted in them escalating their childish behavior.

Given that they have come here 5 times in this day alone with their griefing, spamming, and identity theft. Given that they have now decided to target the other nations of Wysteria, I would strongly ask that the Mods please continue their efforts to do something about this individual, since I don’t have the opportunity to take them back behind the woodshed to teach them some proper manners with a two by four.

Because of this player has now chosen to target the other nations of Wysteria with identity theft and griefing, I have finally decided to password protect Wysteria indefinitely. Indefinitely, because obviously this childish player will continue to relentlessly spam, grief, and perform continued identity theft against the players of Wysteria for as long as they are able to access the system.

I appreciate the work that the Mods have done so far in dealing with this offensive individual, deleting somewhere in the neighbourhood of 70 puppets, and would encourage the Mods to continue their efforts in removing this affliction from the NS World. I would also appreciate it if they would inform me when they have a permanent solution so I can then remove the password protection from Wysteria and open the region to immigrating nation states.

I, for one, find the situation despicable. That somebody with an appalling lack of both a life and good sense would do this is absolutely deplorable. What they believe they can accomplish, besides driving an otherwise good person mad, is beyond me. Rather reminds me of a mosquito; small, insignificant and annoying. I don't know all the details, but it might be a good idea just to ignore the idiot. People like him usually look especially stupid when noone pays attention to them, and usually get bored if they're ignored. He's obviously doing what he's doing out of a childish desire to get attention, so don't give him what he wants!

Just my two cents.

I just wanted to throw in my support behind Bruce (and Equus, for that matter). This spamming we've been subjected to in Wysteria has gone beyond merely annoying.

I appreciate all the work the mods have done in the past few days to help rid us of these children, but it doesn't appear to be over.

Thanks for all your efforts, but please don't stop just yet.

I hope this is not off topic but a similar thing is going on in Wyndia with one player reporting his password stolen twice and one 'non_native' returning time and again with different puppets spamming.

I think I will try the 'ignore' technique with the spammer but its worrying that someone had their password taken, he said he has been told his password is his own responsability.

Hope I didn't hijack your thread but just saying this stuff is going on elsewhere too.

All those idiots who make zillions of spammy puppets really piss me off. Free Wysteria from the scourge of spamming and id theft!

Having spoken with The Bruce and resided in his region exclusively for the past two years, I'm aware of just how tolerant he is and how much abuse it takes for him to take this kind of step. I'm only aware of a request like this once or twice before. It is the first time, to my knowledge, that he has placed indefinite password protection on the region as it goes against everything that he stands for.

I don't know what can be done about this, but I can hope that the offender in question can be IP-banned so he is prevented from heaping more abuse on good folk like The Bruce and Equus.

I think we're just lucky that he doesn't know how to write up a script to send the telegrams to everyone.

I got two telegrams. One was from bruce terminator, the same as a telegram a lot of people have been getting lately. Another was from the same guy, impersonating the Holy Empire of Equus (not doing particularly well), telling me that we should rally against The Bruce. I telegrammed him back and said that he should just let it be. I just opened my TG's, and he replied, apologising, but saying he was going to keep it up anyway. I was told to report it. I feel sorry for the guy. No respect for himself, and his entire region was made up of puppet nations. But then again, I wasn't here when The Bruce did this whole "mass genocide" thing the crazy man's all on about. He could use a spellcheck, too. ;)

Just another day, another chapter in the spamming, griefing, and identity theft by a single player that has plagued Wysteria for the last two weeks. Today it was create a nation pretending-mocking Equus and sending anti-Wysterian telegrams throughout the region. This individual has made it a point to especially target anyone posting on the Civic HQ Board and commit identity theft against them to send griefing telegrams to various players in Wysteria.

After getting told several times that the Moderators were looking into a more permanent solution than just Mod bombing the expendable nation of the day created by this Player, I was surprised to receive a message that appeared to contradict this intent.

I was told to keep feeding the Mods the names of the new nations of this player, as they emerge (which is good), since they have a delete on sight order put on them. But then I was also told that if they got worse the Mods would consider enacting a permanent solution against this player. I was a bit taken aback by this statement, considering what Wysterians have had to put up with lately from the annoying individual targeting our region.

Worse! How much worse than a sustained, daily campaign of spamming, identity theft, and griefing could you get. It’s forced the closure of our borders by password protection (after this player spammed us 5 times in the same day). It’s caused some nations to leave the region because they don’t like the atmosphere that this campaign of hate has created. Really, short of peeing on Max Barry’s shoes I’m not thinking that they could really get much worse.

I’d like to thank the Moderators for their “final solution” in dealing with the offending player who was spamming our region for the last two weeks. Hopefully, this will be the end of the annoyance we’ve had to deal with and things can go back to what passes as normal in our green and pleasant region.

And of course thanks for dealing with the spammers who took a run at the region as soon as got rid of the password protection on Wysteria. Hopefully, there will be a bit of peace after this and less headaches for you folks to deal with.

As I telegrammed to you, once in a blue moon something goes wrong with the deletion process and the nation becomes undeletable. Easy enough to fix though: I just cleared its password and e-mail so it will die of natural causes in 28 days.

Looks like there's another case of Elvislander invasion in Wysteria. I copied and pasted from our regional board with the previous post so you could see where it is.

The Moderators continue their daily ritual of Mod bombing newly created spamming nations of the individual who has been plaguing Wysteria since January 27th. While Wysteria has had spam from this creature quickly cleared off when it occurred the offending creature’s telegram spam campaign has been ongoing daily (in fact the only day when it has not occurred was the first day of new security measures by the Mods when we were spammed by one of Ellandar’s puppets).

Not only has the attempted identity theft against several nations of Wysteria, usually myself, continued but has escalated. Wysterian nations receive daily hate mail to leave the region and now I’m finding out that Delegates, Founders, and other highly visible nations around the Nation States World are receiving griefing telegrams, pretending to be me.

NOTE: The following iis mostly likely just a false alarm. However, from 7:34 until 7:49 there was a guest on our regional forum viewing the Elvisland thread. Personally, that seems like a long time to be viewing any thread without so much as a click. Intent staring? Malicious thoughts? Not likely. It was probably just a regular member who didn't log in. Nonetheless, I thought I should report it and bring it to everyone's attention that the Elvisland spammer probably reads all our threads, especially that one and consequently this one since it has this link on it.

Oh, and as far as why was I looking at the online list for that amount of time? Simple, I had nothing better to do.

Here's the latest spam that I have received. I'm not sure if it's desperation, a cheap ploy, or just plain patronization. Though I have noticed that the spammer's grammar has improved 403%. Have a nice day and bon apetit!

I think there's more than one spammer. I've been able to knock out the main one who was spamming the Wysteria board, and hopefully I can get rid of this one now.

Well, I just found a rude and insulting message from The Republic of Halloweenayo.

Yes, the spammer[s] have been very active today. There have been at least 3 separate brand-spanking-new nations spamming TM boxes and the regional board.

Edit: Make that at least six.

I've gotten a couple more, from the Republic of La Brousse (he speaks French!), and the Republic of Foundy of larmy. His bilingual abilities don't appear to have done much for his grammar or his punctuation, however.

Sounds like he's calling for a truce, if we get his nations back. Problem is, of course, that mods don't unban nations. I told him we would stop reporting his nations if they stopped spamming and defaming, but I have no idea if he will consider this an acceptable option.

What he does not seem to understand is that we have no influence over the mods actions. All we have done is report him when he behaves offensively. The mods certainly aren't going to unban him just because he promises to be good in the future.

Anyway, I've got him in a dialogue, so please don't delete New Yellosaki for the moment. The moderator's solutions aren't working on this guy for some reason, so I'm hoping that maybe I can talk him in to stopping altogether, and solve this headache for us AND the mods.

Our former spammer has kept his word and stopped spamming, defaming, and impersonating us as of last Thursday evening (Feb 24). As long as he keeps his word, Wysteria is satisfied with this result.

We would all like to whole heartedly thank the mods - especially Myrth - for all the time and effort they spent in trying to protect Wysteria from the serial spammer. Although they were not entirely successful in stopping him, I have no doubt that the primary reason our spammer is throwing in the towel is because the moderators made his life too difficult for him to want to continue.

"All of you gays eat cocks and vaginas like this entire region."

I traced them through the regions of Sex, East Pacific, Texas, and back to Wysteria, of all things.

Note that "The White Plains" is a different spammer, who has targeted a number of regions, not the serial spammer who specifically targeted Wysteria.
