Hey, I've seen a lot of people with signatures at the bottom of their posts, but I don't know how to create my own. Help!

Remember, threads that are overly long or use overly large text will be edited back down to size if we Mods spot them (personally I'd like every sig to be plain black text in [size=1] tags, but that's just me - the actual criteria are somewhat less strict).

Just keep in mind the [size=1] text are a bit hard on the eyes for sum us (like myself). ;)

If your 1 line sig takes up more space than your post it might be a TAD too large.

My theory is that your sig should never be longer than your average post length. I went for the size 1 mostly anyway.

Yours is fine. We don't start to worry unless it's way over the limit lengthwise (eight lines being the limit, technically), or it uses [size=absolutelyridiculouslyhuge].

Yust remember that a signature should tell the members something about yourself (how subtile it might be, sometimes.), not something about other people. That is my own rule I like the most. :p
Don't flamebait or insult people with it.

Yes, you probably have them turned off.
If you want to see them, go to the grey tabs labelled "profile" in the top left.
Then, click on "edit options", and scroll down to the "Thread Display Options" section.
Tick the "Show Signatures" box, then you should be set.

While we're on the subject, I was thinking of starting a thread (possibly in gameplay) where people could post quips, epigrams, and Bon Mots, for the use of anyone who needed a witty sig. Just wanted to check this wasn't spam?
