I think what we need to question, is the average intelligence of Commies who actually believe that picture.

Mods aren't here to judge the stupidity of players and their threads, they are here to eliminate rule-breakers. I (although I am not a mod) see nothing against the rules in that thread. If you don't like what's on it, just don't look at it.

Well...it definately has the potential to inspire flames...making it flamebait...

It may have the potential to provoke flames, but I do not think that that is what it was created for.

It was created as a joke, but I believe that if it is not stated in the post that it is a joke, then it is quite certainly flamebait.

It's almost a flame in its own right, insulting the intelligence of Bush supporters, but I don't know if it's strong enough to count.

Exactly what was it created for then? Looks to me as though its purpose is to insult bush supporters.

I don't think that it was made to comment on the IQ of Bush supporters here; I think that it was created to argue a point for Kerry, not against Bush.
You are starting to convince me though.

...this argument is honestly pointless...

if you really want to get into it, a point for kerry is a point against bush, and considering that the election is long over, there is in fact no point to be made other than "people who voted for bush are stupid."

trust me, a bush supporter, when I say that this chart has the potential to inspire "flames." besides, was goatse created to offend straight people? was it created to simply gross people out? was it created to try and get into guiness book of world records? frankly, it doesn't matter how or why it was created, the fact that both goatse, and this chart, were created and posted on this board is enough.

People fling around so many insults these days I'm surprised that some of us are still so sensitive to it. I stopped bothering with bashers, flamers, and such long ago. Now if someone wants to have an actual discussion, that's different. As a socialist and Kerry-supporter, it was amusing (and admittedly a bit gratifying) to read that list, but one is enough; and I can't see it doing much more than causing contention and flaming. Then again, if it is presented merely as the statistical data that it is, however flawed it may or may not be, I can't see logical grounds for punishing its presentation any more than there would be grounds for posting election results that show how Bush won the election. It's something of a grey area that I suppose is up to the moderation team to decide. One thing is certain, that same data has been posted enough. Future posts should be locked for that reason, if nothing else.
