we're the region ITALIA, to defend our self from invasions and coulp d'etat. We don't want any "pusch" in more... so we want a founder.

I ask it to the older Mod in this game, i think he remembers what we had to see one mounth ago and for mounts and mounts... cheaters who take the controll of our region. We want to be finally free without using the password to protect us.

If you need a lot of person who sign this petition up we'll sign democratically it... if you give us a possibility we'll give you the name of the next founder.

I hope some mod will see our petition.

You need to found a new region and move there. If everyone moves out of ITALIA, the region will disappear and then you can use the name for a new region.

We don't appoint Founders because a region is being invaded. Generally the only times Founder appointments are made are after a region has been griefed.

I've brought this up for discussion with the other Moderators. However, as the matter stands, I see no exceptional circumstances in favor of appointing a Founder for "Italia". The region is medium-size (only 59 nations, right now) and there have been no griefings that I can see in the official records.

Is the death of your founder natural (incativity) or someone help him to die (e.g. some mod)?

Some regions never had a founder before. Refounding a region can be tricky because someone can take the name.

First, "invaders" and "griefers" are not the same thing. I don't know if you're confusing the two terms, but I want to clear that up now. "Invasions" are legal, "griefing" is not. By order of the NationStates Administrators, regional invasions are legal as long as the invasion rules (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=301703) are obeyed.

Second, the Founder feature was not programmed into NationStates specifically to let players "be safe from invaders". It was created to allow players to set up private regions for themselves and whoever the Foudner wants to let in*. Being "safe from invaders" is a side-effect.

* At least, I think this is the reason.

Third.... "calling mods maybe once per day"? I'll have to ask around, but this sounds like an exaggeration.

Fourth, if you create a new region, then you become Founder; that is your right. However, appointing a Founder for an existing region is decided only by NationStates Moderators. It is not your right to choose whether or not an existing region gets a Founder.

Tricky, yes, but it's one of only three altarnatives:
Refound the region.
Found a new region.
Remain in "Italia" without a Founder.

... and conveniently griefed again (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=393869), right after the founder discussion, by a nation that was duly elected as Delegate despite being relatively new and unknown, and conveniently posted the fact that he was griefing to the moderation forum immediately thereafter; amidst cries of "password thief" and "he is my enemy"!

yeah, but that griefing nation was like 4 billion...who would grief and willingly break the rules with a nation like that? i mean, at least first get a little 5 mil puppet in place (i know, i know, don't do it at all, but that's what the usual griefers do..)

password thief is the true, it's strange or not that a nation iscribed for 1 year and never expelled for UN violation in a night decide "i want to be the founder" and brake the rules... with whom after? with one of his bad enemy... please be smart and understand! Check all Ip of our ex delegate and understand us.

Mods didn't want to give us a founder coz, they wrote, we had not been grefied. As i liked we were grified at least once, and if i remember well one week before they tried to make the same thing but we denonced them. So please hear the turth, give us the founder and restore SpawnVD.

being griefed doesn't automatically give you a founder...
it's only in special cases, like really big regions and all, decided by the mods.

Please I ask Moderators and Admin not to listen to this people about the founder. These are only one perty of Italia and most of the other people dont want it, or obviously do not want them to become founders.

why i am against a founder?

I am not at all against it but who will you give it to ?? only to one faction (ossimoro mandlandia ecc..) so that they can kick out all the others ? please dont do this.. dont kill the game..

This is crazy! Don't you see that this topic was opened before the delegate ( a close friend of ossimoro and mandlandia), kicked everyone out from Italia? They wanted a founder, the moderators decided that wasn't necessary, so they planned that griefing!! Please, I've been in that Region for such a long period, they are just getting more and more power (the password, the "public" forum on a private site owned by Ossimoro etc), if you give'em a founder too it will be the death of the Region. If they want a region with a founder they can create one, but you can't let them steal the most important italian Region!

Meneghino is "La grande milano" as you can see from his ip that i won't publish here, he, as you saw, haked the password to SpawnVD and did what he said "This is crazy! Lombardo-veneta is another lamer who has been banned from UN. He was our "delegate" with un-multis for mounths after we disovered him and we denonced him after he tried to grifie our region as i linked. Don't you believe me? Controll your database and all IPs!

You don't get the point, our past doesn't matter now couse you don't have the right to become the new mussolini. Admins resolved the question about the griefing, we have different opinions about what happened, but the fact is that you can't become founder. Stop asking for that and stop accusing us for every mess you do.

did i write "I WANT TO BE THE FOUNDER"? not i asked only if we can have a founder, no more... it's different as you can see. You wrote these things coz you want to continue with what you're doing.... CHEATING
