I propose the Anti-DA Alliance to stop this threat. We will aid any nations that is targeted by the godmodzer and aim for its utter destruction: pending he does not godmod his way out of cource.

Can you elaborate why you feel it is flamebaiting? As I read it, he doesn't seem to be trying to incite you, he just doesn't seem to understand the difference between IC and OOC. If that is the case, perhaps the best action is to politely point out that godmodding is an OOC accusation, and that it shouldn't be used ICly, and that you'd rather not RP with someone who isn't clear on this.

He is in a thread he knows I'm posting in, and he calls me a godmodder, a clear attempt to bait me into some sort of response.

It seems to me more like people misinterpretting IC communications to be more than they are. But I'm not a mod here.

Suggestion: Be the bigger man here, and let it go. This seems a really weak sort of 'flaming', if you can even call it that. As much crap as I've seen you go out of your way to stir up with other people ic'ly and such, I'd think you'd have a thicker skin, or at least be able to recognize similar tactics when used by others.
People, honestly now. THIS is what I meant about 'moderating ourselves'. Is something that easily ignored really something the mods need to be called on? Players talk smack all the time. Anyone that goes out of their way to 'rawr' and such makes themselves a target for a good lot of folks wanting to 'rawr' back.
Just my take on it. Seems more laughable than anything else.

What I do IC, has nothing to do with stirring responses, IC controversy is good and healthy, what isn't is OOC statements trying to bait people into arguments.

Personally I would hope, since no one seems to be flaming out of anger in the thread, players could resolve this sort of stuff on there own amiably by saying, "I'd rather not RP with you." It just seems that they are not doing this in an attempt to bait, but just not understanding RP etiquette. But oh well. It's in the hands of the mods now.

So .. are you saying you're not mature enough to separate that yourself, take it for what it is, and move past it? And yes, what you do IC -does- have an impact on the opinions people have of you, hate to break the news.
Hence his claim, I would suppose, of 'godmodding', no? After all, you can't godmod ooc actions.
Not to say his claims are true, of course.

Wow, I got on here and I see Your in the Moderation Forum words and the URL in my TMs from a friend of mine and I think "Did I cuss out a mod or something?"
This is simply a misunderstanding. I guess I forgot to put in OOC on there (I usually put in [OOC: text] to clarify it) but I guess I was not paying attention.
It was simply a joke that you controlled TBD and that I see no evidence saying so, unless you can direct me to such a thread.
I am sorry for this mix-up, and I can't belive you thought I was serious in putting the word Godmoder in an IC post.
*slaps hands* Won't happen agian until Mardi Gras.
