Seems kinda obvious. Not only is it not funny, its rather offensive. AS I said in my post, if I posted something similar for just about any other religion, the topic would have been deleted, and I would have been flamed by every forumer out there.

I was going to post about this same thread. Even as heated as some people get on here, referring to a portion of a faith's sacred scriptures as "The Book of Bullshiticus," or saying that the founder of a faith "was a abortion doctor until he became a missionary," is more than a bit over the top, don't you think? :headbang:

Cut....It....Out.
Seriously, the original poster is a catholic, and he was trying to make a point about people taking the bible to seriously. A great deal of offensive things are posted on here everyday, but he was not targeting anyone in particular in this post.

It is really funny by how many people were offended. Here's another good example of obvious drek that still crosses people off (click the 'comments' at the bottom of the page):

You know what?
Maybe you should take into consideration the feelings of others before you post such irrational nonsense. Think if someone started bashing something you cherished, cared for, and took very seriously in an unprovoked manner. You'd be upset, wouldn't you? Every single last one of you would.
I don't care what religion you are, posting something as insulting as that shouldn't be accepted in my opinion. Yeah, you're entitled to free speech. But that doesn't include slander. And to me, that post was very slanderous, and I took a lot of offense to it.
Oh, and regarding the whole arguement on the "piss" thing, "piss" isn't actually a swear word. It's just very impolite and inappropriate. In the Bible (King James Version), in the Old Testament, I recall reading a verse that had the world "piss" in it. It's because of the mainstream Christian community that "piss" has been dubbed a swear word. Maybe a lot of you should stop listening to the mainstream Christian community and find out about these things on your own, so you can stop stereotyping people like that.

I think this is a case of people getting offended over something they should be laughing at. I know I've presented names of the band members of the Beatles as Bible books before. Then there's the entirely invented books of Hasturicus, Yomamma, Lapdanceria, and Happyhappyfuntimea that I sometimes bring up in conversations.
"Well, look who we caught stealing from the supply cabinet." :pulls out a Bible: "According to the book of Hasturicus, we have to slice off both of your hands and suspend you from the ceiling by your manhood. Any objections?"
or
"According to the Gospel of Yomamma, we have to be home earlier tonight."
The second one I haven't said in a few years. Saving it for when I have kids.

Most famously here, in these two different accounts of the same incident, but also elsewhere:
Isaiah 36:12
But Rab–sha'keh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
2 Kings 18:27
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
