When are you exactly considered as a native to a region? Is there is certain length of time that one would have to remain in the region in order to be classified as a native?

Rule of thumb definition of a native:
Someone in the region before your invading group arrived that is not a confirmed part of another invading group ('defenders', other invasion groups, etc). Note that 'spies' planted in a region do not count as natives. (Then again, a good spy does not get caught as such.)

It seems that he's suggesting that there is no time. Then again, Rep Prod's rules aren't binding as of yet.

I believe there's no classification of native/non-native until the question of invasion comes up. And then it's based on whether or not the nations came in as part of an invading or defending force or simply to live there.

But as they've said, there's no hard and fast rule, as some people have large numbers of puppets that are in many regions all across NS. So whether those would all be considered natives would be up to the Mods in the case in question.
