Clarification on the Griefing in The DEN

The nation of General Tommy Franks, Founder of The DEN, was deleted a few weeks back for something like making racist comments. In the ensuing days, The DEN was taken over and eventually handed back to the natives. When the nation of South West Alabama took over the Delegacy, he went on a griefing spree. Many native nations of The DEN were ejected and a password was installed.

Since South West Alabama took over the Delegacy, somewhere around 60-70 nations have been ejected and effectively banned (even if not on the banned list.)

It is my understanding that South West Alabama is the former Founder of The DEN, General Tommy Franks. Now, since this is an obvious case of mass griefing, is South West Alabama somehow exempt from the violations because he was the former Founder. Actually, he isn't the Founder anymore technically, so I am not sure of the rules here.

If a mod could clarify, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I may not be a mod, but in this (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7726938&postcount=6) thread, The Most Glorious Hack said this:

Foundership resides with the nation, not the player.

Interesting situation...

I'm a little tired to review it, but it seems legit. While Frank's new nation isn't the Founder, he does appear to be a native Delegate, which means he can password lock the region.

The ejections are suspect, however. South West Alabama is not the Founder and does not have Founder powers. I'll need a second opinion.

I am personally biased against Franks. I was one of the people that reported franks for his racist comments that led to his deletion. If foundership resides with the nation not the player, then southwest alabama is not a founder and has no entitlement to foundership.

Southwest Alabana is Franks UN nation. Southwest Alabama to my knowledge was not a native. He came to the region 5 or 6 days ago, and thats right around the time he assumed the delegacy. I would not consider this being a native delegate. I could be wrong, and I am not trying to argue or start anything.

I respect whatever the mods decision is here.

I would direct anyone to look at the RMB of The DEN. Southwest Alabama clearly states that he is keeping the region open for now, but passworded and that no one will be allowed to come into the region. I do not see how a non- founder could do something like this. He is also not allowing a native named Debugistan to come back into The DEN region.

what the hell.. you people aren't even natives.. stay the hell out of it. if the natives feel wronged by being ejected, let them report it! you'll do anything to get us deleted

I would try and get your point acroos in a calmer fashion. Shouting and screaming and saying what the hell rarely does anything.

Seems the mods have dealt justice once more.

That's insignifcant. Anyone can report rule violations. You should know by now that The DEN is watched by many groups and individuals on NS.

As The Most Glorious Hack stated in this thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=386268),
Founders: Can do whatever they Hell the want (aside from flaming, posting porn, etc.)

Native Delegates: Can password protect without telling natives. Can kick natives and leave them on the ban list. Can kick any number of non-natives and leave them banned.

NON-Native Delegates: Must distribute the password to all natives (regardless of most recent activity). Must remove natives from the ban list immediately. Can kick any number of non-natives and leave them banned.
I always thought, perhaps because it had been stated before, that reincarnations of natives are also considered native. Again, I am not sure of this, but it sounds familiar.

If the above-mentioned is the case, then he may be considered a native delegate, as his supporters were also, more than likely, natives.

My own thoughts, and by no means truth,

I don't know either, but it's fairly commonplace... and it's not isolated to just the invading/defending game, even though that's the most visible fights.

General Tommy Franks aka Mississippi Rio has done some nasty things in this game. For example GTF was initially deleed for racist comments and threats made on the RMB of The Old Raiding Club. I find it funny how his own troops ignore his fact.

If you would like to spread rumors or defame a player, no matter what they did, I have a feeling that this isn't the place. Let's stick to what this thread is about, being a possible infraction for moderators to look into.
