It's another one about the mods, in General, might want to be in Moderation?

We've seen that one. To be perfectly honest, it looks to be one of those things where if we do anything concerning it (including posting on it) it'll end up as being confirmation of the massive moderator conspiracy to get people deleted and ruin the game for everyone... although why exactly we'd want to do that is beyond me. While it goes without saying that we disagree with the conclusions drawn and the 'evidence' presented as being somewhat one-sided, if we tried to posit our own 'evidence' then it would become a matter of he-said she-said which really isn't constructive.

Given that it isn't exactly constructive speculation on moderators and reform (unlike the Petition currently on this forum), I'm just going to leave it be in General. That's where it's wanted, it seems, and there's no real reason to move it anywhere.

Besides the list is in a top secet location. Six, and the others are not really even all that close to it. Mod central has quite a good security system. ACME Security says it's the best in fact.

So don't worry your pretty head about things like this. Your consern is noted and we are watching you..

Looks like confirmation to me...

*sigh*

Falsely quoting other people is in very poor taste. And "concern" has two c's and no s's.

And it's OPSEC for OPerational SECurity. Dunno where that second P comes from.

I thought about a way to make this entire turn of events something constructive for the forum. So, I was rereading the thread with Stephistan's mails to Max Barry, and I was thinking we ought to create the set of rules she was advocating (2nd page, fourth post). This would be more descriptive than the glossary of forbidden actions of course, outlining more detailed circumstances. Of course, I wouldn't assist in creating these rules, nor would the other players, all of us will have a bias towards things. I think that responsibility would go to Max Barry, since he is the person in charge, and knows what he wants with the forum.

Slowly the mOds reveal their secrets..
