Try to stick to reporting violations that simply cannot be resolved by players themselves. An occasional "hey guys, we're off topic, let's stop attacking each other" can go a long way. Not in all cases, but you get my point.

Before the search was disabled on the old forums to save server space, "modalert" served a very useful purpose in helping the mods track down forum violations since we could just search for "modalert" to find reported problems.

Since we're now on a reliable server farm (even if it gets slow now and then), "modalert" is obsolete and largely considered in poor taste now that it is no longer useful.

Actually, there is. It's the one rule of this game that nobody seems to know about.

Because our moderators are players who have volunteered to help out of the goodness of their hearts, please deal with lesser disputes without involving them. For example, if someone spams your regional message board, your region's Founder or UN Delegate can eject them.
