For what it is worth, this player (name removed) also has a borderline name and is going off on Pilot (the UN resolution sponsor) in International Incidents as well.

This really baffles me. Last time I checked this was a game right? So, what happens in this game has no effect in our real lives right? So, why would some nation make those threats, it seems silly, and totally out of line.

Even if a proposal left out the costs it would incur it is no reason to call someone an idiot or make threats. Instead of insulting that person why not try and help them make their proposal even better. Thats just my take on things.

See, being a new and underdeveloped country, I thought it wouldn't be appropriate to claim I had sent a barrage of nuclear missiles at Pilot's capital.

What are you trying to tell me, that ambassador was the guy's real name? You people are weird. I don't think we have the same understanding of RP'ing.

p.s. as to the name, it's the name of my own little internet kingdom, not something I invented for NationStates. Sorry if it caused any undue associations for you.

You never really mentioned you were roleplaying. So, it wasn't really clear that when you said I will kill you that it was only roleplaying. Try to b clear with what you are saying, how you are saying it, and what the intent was.

It doesn't matter what the origin of your name is. It still is borderline inappropriate. If I had a nation called PuckUAll and claimed it is the name of my livejournal or the name of my dog, that hardly makes it OK.

Furthermore, based on Pilot's first reply to your threats it is a pretty good guess that he / she does not really want to associate with you. Let it go, because continuing to harass another player can be considered griefing.
