I had a thread on the benefits of ballpoint pens, and Hack deleted it, saying it was spam. But it was 5 pages long, and people really liked the thread, and it was a meaningful discussion that ended in both sides reconciling their differences, which is something that rarely happens here. P-p-p-pleeeeease bring my thread back... :(

There you go, there's your answer already given to you. If it's been deemed by a Mod as spam, then that's why it was deleted, whether you agree or not.

But why was it considered spam? I saw this thread, and I thought it was interesting, and it stayed on topic the whole time.

I never saw the thread but based on the topic name, I'm assuming because it had no real point to it (excuse the pun.*) You'll have to wait for 'Hack for an answer to exactly why.

This one is so much worse than the pen thread was. The only reason the pen one was deleted is because it was popular and people were actually having fun, and we certainly can't be having any of that. :rolleyes:

Yeah, some times moderators get their their jobs mixed up with being a god. It's a common mistake.

Yeah, thats it, the Moderators hate to see people having a positive discussion on the merits of writing implements as you've painted it to be. They'd much rather be reading a good old " I NOOK JOO ! " in II Forum instead. It stands to reason ...

I think it was a mecry killing, the moderators all felt sad about seeing you going mad in this forum...don't worry, it'll will be fine, just take your medication and I am sure the voices will stop.

It served no purpose
It was largely you arguing against yourself
It was a waste of space
It started to develope flames
It was spam

Take your pick.
